Here are some of Emily's newest creations...this one she folded in 1/2 to create her layered look







here is the front of the layered one...it bunches up at the top and is sort of gathered...amazing!!

New blankie dresses

Emily has been busy creating new blankie dresses...here are some of her latest..







this one is multi-layered....she made it a short one...this is her first short one...



The layering was intentional...she made a pocket! how does she do this!! It is so fun to watch her make a dress...

Emily has been busy creating new blankie dresses...here are some of her latest..

my fashion designer

so i can't recall if i have posted these photos in the past..but i've been more diligent about collecting them as of late.  our daughter...emily...for about over a year at least, has been making dresses.  out of her night-night aka blankie.  linda, my dear mom-in-law, makes all the kids their own night night, her's is white.  being the dress up queen/princess she is (she is sooo girly, i LOVE it!!) she makes a dress out of her blankie about every day when she wakes up from her naptimes.  one day it occurred to me that i didn't want to forget these beautiful creations, so i've begun to snap photos, which has only fostered more creativity in her to make more dresses to see the photos of them.  enjoy her creations thus far and i'll post more as they are created.

also note...her amazing hair!  these dresses are usually made during naptime...so she has major bed head!!   ; )  soooo cute this one is!!
